Learning Partners will come under Work & Training (also part of the IntoWork Group) another well-known Tasmanian provider. For more than 35 years, Work & Training has been delivering quality training and apprentice employment opportunities across Tasmania.
IntoWork Group CEO Poul Bottern said the move will provide even greater opportunities for Tasmanians to increase their skills, and businesses to build strong and sustainable workforces.
“This move is an exciting one that will allow us to deliver more services to Tasmanians than ever before. It also strengthens our goal of being the leading provider of employment, skills, education, and support services,” Mr. Bottern said.
“Through joining together and increasing services going forward, many more Tasmanians will be supported in their vocational education pathways into employment. In particular Work & Training looks forward to expanding its focus into building and construction which will enable many more women and men to embark on trade pathways supporting Tasmania in developing infrastructure and homes across the State.”
Leanne Wallace, CEO of Work & Training, will assume the role of CEO at Learning Partners, “We’re delighted to welcome Learning Partners into the IntoWork family and are excited about the increased support we can offer to more individuals, businesses, and communities than ever before,” Ms. Wallace said.
